The 2025 Lincoln Nautilus does a lot of things right, making it one of the most comfortable and enjoyable luxury SUVs in the midsize class.
If you were to hear about an SUV with hands-free highway driving technology, a massive 48-inch infotainment display that spans the entire dashboard, a scented cabin with seat massage settings, relaxing visual elements, and curated music, you’d think the SUV was from Europe and costs more than $100,000, but that’s not the case. All of these things describe the 2025 Lincoln Nautilus, which is an impressive midsize SUV for you to drive and enjoy.
Lincoln does things right
The Nautilus gets the fundamentals right and then adds the other items as the virtual cherries on top of the sundae. This SUV has spacious seating, a quiet and comfortable ride, and a standard AWD. This is a luxury SUV that does things differently from what other luxury SUVs are capable of. The Nautilus is much better in its current generation than before. This new model is certainly worthy of challenging luxury SUVs from Europe and Japan, which makes it a domestic model that you should consider driving when you want a midsize SUV with a strong focus on comfort.
What’s new for the Nautilus?
Every model now has a four-year trial subscription to the BlueCruise hands-free driving assistant. This impressive technology is generally reserved for higher trims, but every trim has this feature in the 2025 Lincoln Nautilus. The Lincoln Rejuvenate feature is available for this SUV, which gives you a multi-sensory relaxing program to make it easy to get relaxed and enjoy the ride. You can enjoy the Whisper Blue Metallic paint color, which replaces the Blue Panther color from the 2024 model year. The cabin also receives an upgraded styling theme with a new Light/Dark Smoked Truffle interior them with an optional Jet Appearance package.
What powers this Lincoln SUV?
The Nautilus begins with a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that makes 250 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque. This engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and has AWD as part of the package. There’s a hybrid version of this SUV that adds an electric motor to increase power to 310 horsepower. If you don’t want the hybrid model but want more power, the twin-turbocharged V6 makes 330 horsepower, which is more than enough for this midsize SUV to be fun to drive.
Driving in Normal mode will likely be what you choose most of the time, and this mode filters out the road imperfections during your drive. The Excite mode has a firmer setup that reduces body roll in the corners but has a bit of a harsher ride during your time on the road.
Is this SUV efficient enough?
The Nautilus delivers 21 city/29 hwy mpg when using the standard powertrain. The hybrid model is good for more than 30 mpg combined, giving you the efficiency you want in a midsize SUV. As you would expect, the V6 engine isn’t nearly as efficient as the two other powertrains.
The cabin is incredible
The upgrades added to the Nautilus make it an impressive and redesigned SUV that can be easy to drive and enjoy. The brilliant new cockpit gives you a 2025 Lincoln Nautilus that has a lot to offer, including the new Lincoln Rejuvenate package. You’ll have the benefits of leather upholstery, larger screens, and ambient lighting. You’ll find scent cartridges in the center armrest that release pleasant aromas to give you a relaxing experience during your drive.
This SUV also has an optional 28-speaker Revel Ultima 3D audio system and 24-way power-adjustable seats. You’ll find more legroom for all passengers than this SUV had a year ago. This also means a slightly smaller cargo area than before. There are several optional equipment packages that add the look, feel, and quality you want in your Lincoln SUV. The Black Label model can be had with a Redwood theme that gives you the vibes only found in the redwood forest.
The 2025 Lincoln Nautilus also features a 48.0-inch display screen across the top of the dashboard, leading the class with an impressive screen. The widescreen layout makes it easy to admire the tech included in this Lincoln SUV. There’s also an 11.1-inch infotainment touchscreen to give you the added benefits of connectivity and controls you want to enjoy during your time on the road.
If you want to drive a luxurious and useful SUV with the power, quality, comfort, and features that make sense to you, the 2025 Lincoln Nautilus has what you’re looking for. Which trim is the right one for you?
